The Dragon’s Cave update introduces a new competitive event to Jolly Match: First MR Match-3 Puzzles, offering players a high tension test of focus and consistency. Each event run brings together up to 100 players in a shared asynchronous challenge, where the goal is simple but unforgiving: clear seven consecutive Match 3 levels without a single loss to earn a share of 10,000 gold coins.
Seven Trials on the Path to the Treasure
Progression through the event is visualized as a journey across floating lava stones leading toward a central Treasure Island. Every completed level pushes players forward, while real time updates show how many contenders remain after each round. One failed level ends the run immediately, as the dragon intervenes and removes the fallen challenger from the challenge, steadily narrowing the field.
The Dragon and the Final Reward
Players who successfully clear all seven levels reach the island together and gather around the treasure. At the center stands a shared lever. When activated, a golden cage suspended above the dragon drops down, trapping the creature as it roars in defeat. The cage locks, the treasure chest opens, and the gold coins are divided equally among all surviving players.
Visual Identity and Mixed Reality Presence
All participants appear as uniform marshmallow knight avatars, creating a clean and cohesive visual style that keeps attention on the competition itself. Reactive animations, real time progress updates, and the dragon’s responses to player success or failure reinforce the mixed reality spectacle and maintain tension throughout each run.
